Author Guidelines
The International Journal of Future Research and Innovation (IJFRI) is committed to publishing high-quality, original research across multiple disciplines. Authors must follow these submission guidelines.
1. Manuscript Categories
IJFRI accepts the following types of submissions:
- Original Research Articles: In-depth, novel research with significant contributions.
- Review Papers: Comprehensive analyses of existing literature.
- Case Studies: Practical applications of research with real-world relevance.
- Short Communications: Concise reports on breakthrough findings.
- Conceptual Papers: Theoretical perspectives, frameworks, or methodologies.

2. Manuscript Formatting
2.1 File Format & Length
- File Type: Microsoft Word (.docx)
- Word Limit:
- Research Papers: 5,000β8,000 words
- Review Papers: 3,000β5,000 words
- Short Communications: 1,500β3,000 words
- Case Studies & Conceptual Papers: Flexible (3,000β6,000 words)
2.2 Font & Spacing
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Spacing: Double-spaced
- Margins: 1-inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
2.3 Structure & Sections
Title Page
- Title (concise & informative)
- Full author names & affiliations
- Corresponding authorβs email
Abstract (250β300 words)
- Summary of objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.
- Provide 4β6 relevant keywords for indexing purposes, separated by semicolons.
Main Sections
- Introduction: Define research objectives and background.
- Methodology: Detailed explanation of data collection and analysis.
- Results & Discussion: Presentation of findings with interpretations.
- Conclusion: Summary of key findings and implications.
References
- Follow APA (7th edition) citation style.
- Include DOI links where available.
3. Figures, Tables & Equations
- Figures & Tables: Number sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Figure 2).
- Equations: Use Microsoft Word Equation Editor and number equations (e.g., Eq. 1, Eq. 2).
- Images: Must be high-resolution (300 dpi) in JPEG or PNG format.
4. Ethical Guidelines
- Plagiarism-Free Submissions: Manuscripts must be 100% original with proper citations.
- Authorship Transparency: Only those who significantly contributed should be listed.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Any financial or professional conflicts must be disclosed.
- Human & Animal Research Compliance: Ethical approvals must be stated where applicable.
IJFRI maintains a strict plagiarism policy: Submissions must have a similarity index of 10% or less.
5. Submission Process
- Manuscripts must be submitted via the IJFRI Online Submission System.
- Authors will receive an acknowledgement email upon submission.
- Authors must upload the following files separately:
- Title Page: Must include manuscript title, full author names, affiliations, corresponding authorβs email, ORCID IDs (if available), funding details, and conflict of interest disclosures.
- Main Manuscript (Blinded): Fully anonymized. Do not include any author info or metadata. Clear document properties.
- Figures, Tables, or Supplementary Files (if any): May be uploaded separately.
Peer review takes approximately 2β3 weeks, followed by revisions if required.
6. Peer Review & Publication Process
- IJFRI follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process β both reviewers and authors remain anonymous.
- Authors must ensure the manuscript is properly anonymized before submission.
- Detailed feedback is provided to help improve the manuscript quality.
- Accepted papers are published under Open Access, ensuring global visibility and citation.
7. Post-Publication Policies
- Corrections & Retractions: Any errors post-publication must be reported immediately.
- Copyright & Licensing: Authors retain copyright but grant IJFRI non-exclusive publishing rights.
