Peer Review Policy
The International Journal of Future Research and Innovation (IJFRI) follows a strict double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality, originality, and ethical integrity. Our goal is to maintain a fair, timely, and unbiased evaluation system that benefits authors, reviewers, and the broader research community.
Peer Review Workflow
- Initial Screening: Submitted manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team for scope, format, and plagiarism using standard detection tools.
- Double-Blind Review: The identity of both the authors and the reviewers is kept confidential to ensure impartiality.
- Expert Review: Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts based on originality, clarity, methodology, validity of data, and significance of the research.
- Editorial Decision: Based on reviewers' comments, the editorial board decides whether to accept, reject, or request revisions.
- Revision & Resubmission: Authors are expected to respond to reviewer feedback and submit revised versions within the given timeframe.
- Final Approval: Upon satisfactory revision, the article is approved for publication in the upcoming issue.
Reviewer Selection Criteria
Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, publication history, and expertise in the subject area relevant to the manuscript. IJFRI maintains a diverse and qualified reviewer pool to ensure balanced and expert evaluations.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality and avoid personal or professional conflicts of interest.
- Report any ethical concerns, such as plagiarism or data manipulation, to the editor.
Author Responsibilities
- Ensure that the manuscript is original, properly cited, and free from ethical violations.
- Follow all submission and formatting guidelines provided by IJFRI.
- Respond to reviewer comments respectfully and revise the manuscript accordingly.
Editorial Responsibilities
- Ensure a fair and transparent review process without bias or discrimination.
- Assign appropriate reviewers and maintain the confidentiality of the process.
- Make final publication decisions based solely on the merit of the manuscript.
Editorial Use of Technology
IJFRI may use automated tools to assist in initial screening, such as for grammar improvement, language clarity, and plagiarism detection. These tools support but do not replace human editorial judgment.
Turnaround Time
IJFRI aims to complete the initial review decision within 3β4 weeks of submission. However, this may vary based on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.
Appeals & Disputes
Authors who believe that their manuscript was unfairly rejected may submit a formal appeal via email to editor@ijfri.com. Appeals must be well-reasoned and supported by evidence. The editorial team will review the case independently, and decisions made upon appeal are final.
Acknowledgment to Reviewers
We sincerely thank our reviewers for their time, expertise, and commitment to maintaining the quality of IJFRI. Their voluntary contributions are instrumental in upholding the journalβs standards of excellence.
