Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, objective, and constructive feedback to help authors improve their work.
  • Maintain confidentiality and do not share or discuss the manuscript with others.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, or personal) before accepting a review assignment.
  • Report any concerns related to plagiarism, data fabrication, unethical practices, or duplication.
  • Evaluate the manuscript based on originality, clarity, methodology, contribution to the field, and alignment with IJFRI’s scope.

Review Process

  • IJFRI follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process.
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by a minimum of two subject-matter experts.
  • Reviewers are given 2–3 weeks to complete the review, with possible extensions upon request.
  • All feedback should be submitted through our online system or emailed to editor@ijfri.com.

Review Structure

Reviewers are encouraged to comment on the following aspects:

  • Relevance: Is the topic suitable for IJFRI’s audience?
  • Originality: Does the manuscript contribute new knowledge or insights?
  • Clarity: Is the manuscript clearly written and logically structured?
  • Methodology: Are the research design and analysis appropriate and robust?
  • Ethics: Are all ethical standards met and disclosed?
  • References: Are references appropriate, recent, and cited correctly?

Review Outcomes

Reviewers are requested to recommend one of the following:

  • Accept without changes
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Revise and resubmit (major changes needed)
  • Reject (not suitable for publication)

Reviewer Recognition

All reviewers receive a formal certificate of appreciation upon completing their reviews. Outstanding reviewers may be invited to join the Editorial Board or featured in our annual recognition highlights.
